Two Israeli army reservists were killed during a Hezbollah drone strike on northern Israel, according to a statement released by the IDF on Tuesday morning.

The strike took place on Monday near the northern Israeli town of Metula. In response, the Israeli Air Force struck 15 Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon.

On Tuesday, the army announced the deaths of two soldiers wounded in the incident: Master Sergeant (Res.) Dan Kamkagi, 31, from Oranim and Master Sergeant (Res.) Nahman Natan Hertz, 31, from Elazar.

614 Israeli soldiers have been killed since October 7, including 267 who have fallen since the IDF began its ground campaign in Gaza on October 27.

On Sunday, four Israeli soldiers were killed during a rocket barrage near the Kerem Shalom Crossing. The four soldiers who were killed in the attack are Staff Sgt. Tal Shavit, 21, from Kfar Giladi; Staff Sgt. Ido Testa, 19, from Jerusalem; Staff Sgt. Ruben Marc Mordechai Assouline, 19 from Ra'anana; and Sgt. Michael Ruzal, 18 from Rishon Letzion.
